July 6 2007Infratech Water and Sewer Services Inc. has been awarded a $750,000 contract following a public call for tenders, thanks to PortaZoom and CTSpec.
On the heels of a joint pilot project conducted with Infratech, the City of Cambridge, Ontario, teamed up with the City of Waterloo to launch an invitation to tender for the inspection and diagnosis of more than 9,000 manholes and sanitary and storm sewer mains. To effectively meet the cities’ structural integrity and operational performance assessment needs required an advanced zoom camera and software system, such as the integrated solution available through PortaZoom and CTSpec. Using CTZoom technologies, Infratech was able to comply with the cities’ numerous requirements in terms of database fields and subfields, reporting and mapping and guarantee that project deliverables would consistently match the original specifications. Since it acquired CTZoom technologies in May 2006, Infratech has enjoyed success after success and is securing a position as one of Ontario’s leading providers of preliminary inspection services. In fact, demand is growing so fast that Infratech has just acquired its second PortaZoom system. All news |
