August 29 2008The president of CTZoom Technologies Inc. has become one of only a handful of Canadians to be awarded PACP and MACP trainer status by the National Association of Sewer Service Companies (NASSCO).
Mr. Lortie was presented with his certificate (T-608-7162) on September 7 in Seattle, Washington, after having completed the training program under NASSCO Master Trainer John Jurgens. For CTZoom Technologies, this marks the next-to-last step in obtaining PACP certification for its CTSpec Sewer software. NASSCO requires manufacturers to have at least one person on staff with this certification before they can submit their software to the PACP certification review committee. The CTSpec Sewer program is being evaluated by the committee and an announcement about its certification is expected shortly. The province of Quebec, through the Centre for Expertise and Research on Infrastructure in Urban Areas (CERIU), is currently in the midst of obtaining the rights to the French versions of the PACP and MACP programs in order to extend this standard to all municipalities and infrastructure inspection firms throughout Quebec. CTZoom Technologies Inc. is the first manufacturing firm in Canada qualified to provide NASSCO training to inspection analysts and CCTV operators. All news |
