PortaZoom: A resounding success in Nashville

CTZoom Technologies’ lineup of products and services got an enthusiastic reception at the NASTT No-Dig Show in Nashville, Tennessee in March. Dozens of municipalities and engineering firms from throughout the United States discovered how CTZoom solutions could be integrated into their operations to prepare inventories and assess the condition of municipal infrastructure systems. Participants unanimously agreed that no other North American firm offered such advanced technologies and expertise – the result of 10 years of field experimentation – and that CTZoom represented a comprehensive, professional, top-quality and affordable solution.

Municipalities were particularly impressed by the fact that CTSpec software can be set up to run with GIS mapping programs such as ArcView and AutoCAD. It features a manhole analysis module and is the perfect solution to Gasb 34 and CMOM reporting requirements. A number of major cities have asked for PortaZoom demos in the coming weeks so that their operations staff can become more familiar with the motorized mast, the powerful PortaZoom industrial camera and CTSpec software.

Engineering firms were also pleased to learn more about CTZoom’s standardized specifications, which can be used to develop calls for tenders for the preliminary diagnosis of sewer systems. This free set of specifications can be easily adapted to create professional tendering documents and, according to many engineering consultants, help municipalities achieve their objectives by ensuring access to the best technologies currently available on the market.
